About D-CHIP
Diaspora-Care Health Insurance Programme (D-CHIP), is an affordable medical insurance scheme created as one of the health care services that provides health care coverage for patients in Africa. The medical insurance is paid for by citizens who live abroad (DIASPORAs), for their loved ones still living in Africa.
How D-CHIP works
You sponsor a family member or a loved one in Africa. The member is assigned a unique identification number and issued a membership identification card with his/her photograph on the card.

D-CHIP is a Diaspora response to high-quality insurance program for those who live in Africa. The aim is to provide preventive and curative medical care to the underserved communities. “Preventive medicine is always the best medicine”.
